Post 1997 F150 Tailgate Latch - Easy One
Hi Folks....

Would appreciate any help on this one. The latch on my tailgate only works if I pull up on the extreme left side. So I am assuming I have a two pin system and the right side is off/broken. Questions are....

1. Is it most likely that I have to replace the entire handle or can I fix the one thats there? Dealer wants $26 for a new handle.

2. Please verify that I have to take the ten screws off the inside of the tailgate to get to the assembly.

Any other insight/tips would be appreciated.
