Tailgate replacement
I need to replace my tailgate on my 1999 F250 SD 7.3 XLT. When I bought it, the tailgate was missing. I have ordered a new one, b ut I also need all the other parts, latches, handle etc . Do any of you have a detailed parts breakdown of a tailgate and it associated parts? I would appreciate any kind of drawings if they are available. I really need to somehow download an entire parts manual that shows the entire truck for future use if there is such a thing.

On the same note.
What years Tailgates are compatible with my truck, It is a 2000 F250 XLT SD CrewCab LongBed. I am mainly just curious as I may want to update to a Newer Model Year Tailgate IF Possible (If it will simply Swap Over with No Modification whatsoever). I will be getting the truck repainted with Graphics within the next year and would like to do it then....
