223 fuel injection

hey all. I have a 1964 ford f100 with the 223 I6. I wanna keep it. and i am young enough to have some interest in fuel injection. Now from my research, the 223 is like 3.7 litres. Do you think i could get away with using the fuel injection system off a 3.8 in like a mustang? I think the fuel injection system off a 240 will work. bigger motor. dont know if the computer will be able adjust that low. Any thoughts?
