MKO or MBRP?

Looking at getting a 5".

I'm interested in the MKO exhaust. I have experience installing the MBRP and didn't like the angle of the tip.

What is yalls experience with the MKO?

Love it. MKO good price for a good exhaust. If you are worried of aluminum you could always paint with a high temp paint. Now I need to get around on mounting that massive 6" tip!

Yes I did have a problem. I'm sure I would have with other exhausts too. My down pipe was a bear and I had to dent it in a little to clear the head. Other than that piece of cake that SHOULD (like everyone else) take three hours or less by yourself. It is Very important to make sure nothing is rubbing anywhere from the get go. And take the extra time to paint it with high temp stove paint(helps to stop rust). You can get it at the home improvement store of your choice for $5 a can. I used two cans and had some for touch ups.

Also have the MKO 4" exaust with his 6" tip, I too had to fine tune a little with a hammer. BUT he offered to send me a new down pipe if I chose to. Good service.

I went with MBRP. In Ohio I was not comfortable with aluminumized exhaust. I love it!

Two words

ROAD SALT

and lots of it, im sure they over salt there too, they have been really over salting here, since the interstate 80, and 81 being closed for an extended period of time. I do radio work for the PennDOT and I was talking to one of the big wigs, and he was catching all kinds of hell.

we get a nice gravel and salt mixture, emphasis on gravel, how fast does the salt eat aluminumized material?
