MKO Exhaust

Anybody running the 4" or 5" MKO kit that is sold on ebay? Pretty good deal, just wondering how installation was and wether it was that great of a deal. I was going to do stacks this summer, but I could do a 4" or a cannon right now!

Alot of us are running the 5" MKO system. Install was easy and fitment is great you just need to take your time on the install as space with the 5" is limited. Oh, and the 5" sounds awesome straight piped.

I have his 5" strait pipe system and I love it...it fits real tight but no problems..cut out the old and just hang and line every thing up then tighten..little better if you got a helping hand with the down pipe..spray the clamp by the turbo with pb blast the night be for and soon be for you take it apart..the washer that comes with the clamps on the hanger will jingle at idle..just put on some form a gasket or some thing to keep it from jingling...I painted my pipes black with stove paint to help slow down on rust last October...still clean as the day I put it in...the sound??well lets just say i still smile every time i start that beast up...

4" isnt cannon, and they "consider" 5" a cannon. But i prefer my dual 6" 3-liter bottle shooters over the 5" system. You know you want them, just skip over that puny 5" stuff and go for 6" stacks!

Yeah, I knew that 4" wasn't considered cannon, and strokin you read me right, I really want the stacks. Not one truck around here is running them. Another MKO Q: Did you guys buy yours off of ebay, or from a site sponsor?

I checked out his ebay store, and I really want the 5" kit, but last summer I bought a 6" MBRP tip for 90.00, and I don't want to have just wasted that money. Is there much sound differance between 4" and 5"? What is the differance on the reduction of EGT's. Thanks guys for fueling my PMS!

Kris stop showing off your stacks!

I have Mark's 5" system. It's sweet!

You had to go and do that kris, now I may wait for stacks! You are delaying my pms just to make it worse (but better in the end)!

I also have the 5" system, straight piped, it sounds great and the install was very easy. I would have gone with stacks, but with the topper they wouldn't work too well.

Just installed the MKO 4" aluminized system, $275 shipped. Everything as promised. Pretty quiet with the muffler, in exception for cold-high-idle, in which the turbo whirls extremely loud, like a shop vac, LOL. Great fit, well worth the money.
