does my 89 f-150 have a tilt steering collum?

it looks to be tilted all of the way up right now but i can't figure out how to tilt it down is this just how they where designed?

The turn signal stalk is what is used to tilt the wheel in your truck if it has a tilt wheel. Push the signal stalk forward and it should tilt the wheel back down.

in 92 and up it is next to the turn signal.

not sure on 89.

<92 is the signal stalk like mentioned, push it forward and pull down on the wheel.

87 to 91 is also on the turn signal lever.

Tilt is nice but it doesn't have the cool factor that the slide-away column you probably have on that 66 T-bird does!

my 64 galaxie had a slide away column as well , i ripped it out after the car went down the driveway by it self in gear becasue of the bell crank and you cant find parts for
