52, F-1 Body and Interior Assembly Manuals

HELP!!! I am in dire need of a body and assembly manual so that I can get my bed back on the frame and get the bed wood in. Can any one help me? I have seen plenty of 1953 and later manuals BUT never a '52. Or if not a manual some instructions of some type?!!

Also will the Ford radio hole cover for a '48-'50 fit a '52? I have the speaker grill for the '52.

Thank you

The dash is different for the radio delete plate. You need the one that covers the radio hole. It says"Ford" on it. Made out of metal, not plastic for the 48-50.51-52 are the same, not 48-50. I have never seen any assembly manuals for the 48-52 series trucks. Do you have a parts manual? It has some exploded drawings of the beds.

Barry,
Thanks for the info. I do have a parts and shop manual....they are not much help because of my level of ignorance!!! But I will figure it out. And keep asking questions!!

Are you the Barry that I traded transmissions with?

Cheers,
Ed Browder

Hi Ed, Yes, I am the one you traded the trannies with. Hope that one worked out for you. Sounds like you're making progress on your truck. Mine is tucked away for the winter now. Barry

Barry,
Seems to be working fine. I am fortunate that the truck is a project for the kids in auto shop here at the high school where I work. So it stays garaged. So we all benefit. Progress is at times slow....but the price is right....And some kids are learning some excellent skills.

Cheers and have a relaxing Holiday Season.

regards,
Ed
