Hi there. I got a SES light on my 2000 F150 XL 4X4 with the 4.2 6cyl, and I have a very cheap code reader for OBDII, but I looked under the dash, and I cant see the plug. Am I blind of is it hiding? I have a brake controller installed, and I hope the unit is not hiding the plug. I did not install the controller, I had it done. It is under the dash inline with the gas pedal. No other mods have been done to her. Please help me see this plug. It is driving me mad and a bit foolish looking. Thanks in advance

I cant miss my OBD 2 plug in, it is right underneath the steering wheel. I dont know if that will help

 

Look under the dash, below the power point area.

 

Well, should of looked behind my brake controler, cause that is where it is. Thanks again. I will be asking what the code means after I get it out of the computer.
