Where are these little buggers hiding???? I looked at those on the left side, under the dash. There are a host of them there but none appear to be controlled by the upfitters......
I had the same problem... They are tucked up on the left side of the steering column up under everything. They are new colors as well. It is easy to tell which ones they are, because there are only 4 of them together. Two are of larger gage wire (30 amp), and two are of smaller (10Amp). I believe if I recall correctly, one 30A is yellow, and one is green. If I have a second I will run out to my truck and read it off and write back. Good luck. Oh, and remember these are relayed already and switch power.

Reason: error
I just found the wires yesterday and plan to hook up a CB. Can someone help me on a couple of issues.
First, should the CB be wired to the 15 or a 30 amp switch?
Second, what about a ground? I could not find the relays, and not being an electrical whiz, was under the impression I would have to ground the CB somewhere.
Third, any ideas on running the antenna wire into the truck without disturbing the awesome quiet? I plan to mount the antenna on the bedrail behind the rear window.
Anyone seen kit for the upfitter switches that allows you to flash your running lights on your trailer? I normally turn on and off my entire lighting system so I can flash the running lights on the trailer to "thank" the person who just flashed me that I'm clear and can merge right when I'm towing.

Thanks.
Use as low an amp circuit as possible. I'm sure your CB has an internal fuse, but if not, 30 amps would fry that sucker in a heartbeat. 30 amps is for heavy duty power draws (like the lights Strut is using) or a winch, or a 1000w stereo amp. Something that uses big power. Most 12v electronics don't draw big amps.
Found out how good the new 55 watt "Back up lights" work.....I Thanked a fella who failed to lower his high beams as he rode my butt for about 2 miles!
One LONG flash did the trick......They work just fine!
Hey guys just took delivery of my new Super duty 2008 F250 6.4 and noticed that instead of the upfitter switches next to the brake controller I have the coin holder!!
I spoke to Ford and ordered the switch assembly, my question is are all the trucks wired for the switches??
If I read your post correctly they would be on the left side of steering column tucked up there.
Also would that mean that there also relayed and fused as well??
Thanks,
BIG2NA..
I couldn't say for sure, but I'd imagine they'd be pre wired from the fuse panel thru the harness to the dash, then you could install the switch panel and the pigtail would be coming off the switch. Someone can chime in if they know diffrent.....
Now I am just waiting for Ford to deliver the switch, Just came off of back-order. After I receive switch & install I will update for future reference!!
Thanks, All for your help So Far
