Houston area pricing for '07 F350

I'm pricing trucks, and I'll probably pick something up in the next week or so. I'm seeing prices approximately $6K-$6.6K below MSRP (after rebates). Anybody have any comments or recommendations?

What part of town?

We've bought several trucks and vans for our fleet from a dealer that's done me right so far. They service diesels pretty well too. The only shop I trust anymore actually.

Arrow Where are U . . .

Don't know what part of town you are in but Mac Haik on the Westside @ I-10 & Beltway 8 has done me right on my '06. PM me for the fleet guy I bought from.

I just sealed the deal on my 2007 Tuesday. From Tommy Vaughn. Nobody gave me the same deal I got there. They even faxed me the msrp/and my cost on the same sheet with total numbers so I could shop around. Other dealers couldn't touch it. I went back and I didn't pay one penny more then the invoice they gave me. I'd give them a call and get some numbers on paper, so you know where your working from. And if a better deals is out there...get it.

I office at 610/45 south, but any dealer in the Houston area will work for me. Most have faxed me quotes, including Tommy Vaughn & Mac Haik, and I've seen the same VIN quoted with as much as $2000 difference in sales price (after rebates, before TTL).

I'm still wondering how you guys made out compared to MSRP. Do you mind posting how far they came down from MSRP? What about elsewhere in TX, LA, or Southwest?

Thanks,

jdj

I bought mine from Joe Myers Fleet Dept. I paid $300 over invoice and got a $1000 rebate and this was on and 07 in late June.

I looked there too last August and ended up buying from Mac Haik as they had the color I wanted and same or lower price. They even offered me the commerical upfitter $1,20 incentive offer too.

Sorry, August of '05, not '06.

around 13% below msrp. Other dealers had different options which makes it harder to make directly to each other. My truck doesn't have all the features I wanted, just that I didn't pay for a lot of features I didn't want. I had to factor in the truck too.

Thanks for the help. My price is $7K (14%) less than MSRP, so I guess I'm OK...
