To sound off on ? My gripe after watching the race was JJ Yalee cutting off Mark Martin as he was passing . JJ if your gonna pull off the track get your car down into the bottom groove . This looked like a intentional takeout to me ( my opinion ) being Mark was # 2 in points ranking
If these race cars had brake lighting and turn signals there would be less wrecks ,,,,,

Yup...JJ screwed up. Rookie mistake that had a major effect on a "Chaser". Ticked me off something terrible but what can ya do? Hope and pray that Mark can come back from it.
As far as a NASCAR header on the board, it would probably just turn into a war zone. Either from NASCAR bashers, or from arguements between the various fans. I've seen it happen over and over again on other sites. NASCAR arguements seem to be right up there with politics and religion.

dudes, if any of you have ever raced you know that you dont need to think about break lights, you have enough to do. i made all my guages face straight up when in normal so all i had to do is glance by them and if one wasnt facing up i knew it wasnt normal. that was ALL of the thinking i wanted to do when running the track

I've done some short track racing, and I understand what you mean about "having enough to do", but I really don't think that having brake lights would actually be something else to think about. It would just be something to react to on the track, which is a bit different.
Do I think brake lights would be of any use on stock cars? No, not really. When you run so close behind another car the issue is simply reaction time, of which there just isn't enough in alot of cases. When you're running a bit farther back, brake lights could easily be more of a distraction than an advantage. And you know somebody would be "playing games" with them to gain an advantage. Brake lights on road courses seem to work out okay, from what I've seen, but in the oval track world I think not so much.
