1965 F-100 Radiator Support
I'll bet that the oem number for the 66 is the same as the 65. To my knowlege (I watch espn2) the only difference in the year mod. is the grill, and some trim.
The 6cyl uses a smaller rad. than the 8cyl, and has a bolted in panel for it. I don't know where the confusion is comming from. The support is the same. The six to six and the eight to eight rad. are the same. You have a wrong part there some where.
Look in your book. Most of those trucks had 352s the rest had sixes, there may have been two sixes available and requires a different rad.

Well Russ ol boy, it looks like Dane took his toys and went home. The support, I beleive is the same from 62-66. I have seen them listed that way at swap meets. The battery box and further rad. supports are all bolted on. If I were selling you one I wouldn't sell you the battery box anyway. They have been sold for $50.00 at some meets. You are correct in that the main cab supports and rad. supports are one of the weak places on all Fords of that vintage. If you can find a solid support check it out, and see if there are any differences that are not bolted on.
