Question Refueling problems F250 SD 06

I'm having problems refueling above mentioned truck, the station gas pump keeps shutting off constantly. Try to run gas pump at slowest automatic setting and pump nozzle shuts off. Eventually I have to hold nozzle and barely squeeze handle, takes ten mintues to fill tank. Sometimes if I hold nozzle just right and the moon is in a certain phase it seem to fill tank faster but most of time it's stop and start fueling. Tubing does not appear to be bent or flattened, appears to be nearly level from filler cap to fuel tank.
I typically run tank nearly empty and then re-fill tank completely, average one tank full everyday or every other day.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Read some threads on Harpoon? but that seems to be concerning putting more gas into tank. I just want to put gas into tank at a reasonable rate and not smell all the gas fumes in doing it....

Do you always go to the same station, or does it happen wherever you fuel up?

I've got a station locally that pumps so slow it takes ten minutes to fill up, but it only happens at that station.

Happens at every station, I've tried sticking the nozzle all the way into filler neck, partially inserted and barely into filler neck. Same results, pump shuts off.

It seems to help if I lift up on the back end of the nozzle hand, but I still need to stand there holding the nozzle.

maybe your filler hose is kinked?

We have the same problems with our newest truck at work and the toolbody. They rerouted the hose and its 3x longer. At first even the slowest setting at the pumps kicked off. They worked on it and now you can just manage 3/4 speed.

I had the same problem with my Xterra. It turned out to be a bad 'fuel vapor cut valve'. Its faulty operation caused a backpressure in the filler neck, kicking the pump handle off. They had to replace the tank.
