I'm sitting here watching American Idol because of my wife. Tonights special guest whatever is Kenny Rogers. I know he is getting old, but theres a story of plastic surgery gone wrong. Jesus, Thats a case for the banning of plastic surgery.

 

I saw Kenny Rogers at the airport in Houston one day. He's about 5' 8" with a big gut (just like me). Amazing what the television pros can do for ones image.

 

Funny thing... I know the name Kenny Rogers is a common one, but one of the guys playing for the Detroit Tigers was named Kenny Rogers...

I like the TV show MAD TV. there was an odd comedy bit they did every week about Kenny rogers. Will Sasso was the actor portraying Mr rogers, and the sketches seemed to completely rip Kenny Rogers apart. They portray Kenny as a raging, lunatic fall-down drunk. What was that all about?

 

Well, there was the thing with him and Diane Parkinson from the Price Is Right, and there were plenty of "rumors" about drugs and booze back then also.

He was married to the girl on Hee Haw (Marianne Gordon-Rogers) until she found out about Diane.

 

That's right - he beat up a cameraman last season, now he's banished to Detroit. Still, he put a 4 hitter on KC on Monday.
