trans kickdown

Can the kickdown lever be replaced with a cable on a c6?

Lokar makes a kit to use a cable.

The cable allows for more flexibility with carburetor options, spacers, intakes, etc. I lost the rod in favor of a cable when I went to a high rise intake with a 2" spacer. The rod simply wouldn't reach. I'm using a Lokar cable and have been really happy with it.

thats what i wanted to do also might run the 4oo for awhile but the linkage will not work the way i bought it
