Just thought I would check in and see whats up and whats new in the Arkansas chapter. Hope everyone is doing ok. I have some pictures to share for anyone interested. It was a bad combination of ice and a sloppy dirt road. Check out the carnage. https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gal...106577&width=0
Nothing new really. Have an antifreeze leak (loss) somewhere on the explorer that I have to find/fix when the ice goes away. The 56 is on hold until then as well. I have parts, but....hate cold.
I was tryin to stop and the ice didnt want me to. So I went for a ride into 2 small trees and THEN A BIG ONE. The picture was taken in Holly, Michigan where I am working for the time being.
Yeah...Ice is funny that way. I just got off the phone with jimkidd, and he's been on the same stretch of I-40 for the last 7 hours or so. Trailer brakes froze up and he finally got a semi to bump him in the back to get it moving.
He's doing a whopping 7 miles an hour now.....should be home right around daybreak. Hit the state line at Memphis at 11 this morning and has traveled about 60 miles since then....
Well I tore the cat and the rest of the original exhaust off and put a 4 inch straight pipe on . Man does that old turbo sing now ! I am still getting contact on the firewall with the down pipe and I worked it over pretty good this time I think I'm going to get new body to frame bushings. When I went over to Jim's he pointed out that my cab was sitting lower than my bed I never noticed that before so thats next.

Saweeeeeet!! Isn't that the coolest sound. I love a straight piped PSD. Got any pipe left over? I've been thinking about straightpiping the duals. I miss the growl.
