Outside Air Temperature...

The air temperature is way off. Today it was saying that it was 82 outside, but it really was only in the 40's. It has been like this for a couple weeks now.

Has anyone had this problem, or know if there is a way to fix it?

Not sure about temperature, but with compass, you would need to calibrate it based on your current zone. There's a simple procedure on compass calibrating in the owner manual.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. The compass is fine. The Temp is what is way off.

CHeck to see if the temp. sensor has been moved. I think it is behind the grill. If it has gotten close to the radiator, it might give false readings.

where is the temp probe supposed to be mounted? I just got a temp/compass mirror and I'm getting higher temp readings when I'm stopped/idling.

I'm having the same trouble as Patatoe1. Will this have any to do with the inside temp I have set?
