A 1947 covered by the Press?

Kind of. The Wine Press is a small paper that comes with each month's sampling of wines from the Gold Medal Wine Club. Was I surprised to find on the front of the paper today a picture of a stock 1947 flatbead, restored, in front of the winery with two barrels of wine in the back. The caption read "For over 30 years, this vintage 1947 Ford flatbead has delivered wine to local merchants". For anyone in the Sonoma region, the winery is Lambert Bridge Winery.

I like it when older restored trucks are put to use. Yesterday I saw a early '50's Dodge flatbed, looked to be fixed up real nice, with a compressor and toolbox on it.

Couldn't catch the writing on the door, probably a service truck for some outfit.
