so yeah your not gonna believe what happened on friday night.....!!! yeah i f***** wrecked my truck friday night about 8:30pm. it was crazy.... i was slidin sideways a lil (like i always do) and the butt end came around and caught a rut in the ground and caught hard enough that when it went over all four wheels came off the ground and i was airborn for about a half second and the roof of the cab smashed in completely on my side and smashed a lil on my buddy ross' side (passenger side) my puppy (2 month old lab chow cross) was with me when it happened... and he ran off into the orchard and came back about a half-hour later and ran back to me. i was freakin out cause he was gone i didn't really care about the truck at that point cause what was done was done. So yeah that was pretty crazy. there will be some pics in my gallery on here if you wanna see (i gotta upload them on thursday when i'm at work).... But i got another truck like it today for $800 (1977 F-250 Ranger Camper Special 4x4 400, c6, np205 d44hd, d60, pretty clean, pics to follow on thursday) so i'm gonna rebuild mine and make it better than before... So yeah pretty interesting....huh?

Ouch, that sucks. So you are gonna swap all the parts from the truck you just bought to the truck you wrecked? You have the technology to build it better, stronger, faster than before. Good luck man, glad your okay.

 

That's not what it sounds like to me. Sorry about the accident but glad to hear you're okay. That could have turned out a lot worse. It's hard to tell from the pics but it looks to me like the bed was untouched in the roll over as was the front clip. There's another guy (FordPickup460) who had his truck rolled while being trailered and the cab was crushed but the rest was untouched. You might be able to just swap a new cab in there.

I would put an external 2" double hoop roll bar on it for next time. Glad noone got hurt including the puppy. The puppy must have really been freaked out.
