F-250 2wd Lift kit?

I have a 1986 F-250 4x2 460 and heard somewhere that F-150 2wd lift kits would work. I have not been able to find any specific applications for this generation F-250 2wd's. Does anyone know how to lift my 250 2-3"s? Thanks for the help.

The only thing I can reccommend is a body lift... they sell the hockey puck looking things, in the body lift kits.... I saw them somewhere. I think JC whitney... I am not sure if thats the route you want to take...

I was really hoping to find some sort of suspension lift that would work. I don't like the gaps associated w/ body lifts.

I am sure if you are good with fabrication, you can make a lift... basically get some taller springs, and relocate the pivots for the dual I beams, and the torsion bars... Sounds like a project, but theres nothing in stone that says it can't be done. Gary

I have an 81 F100 4x4 LWB which has had a 3inch lift front and rear.
It comprises of blocks under the rear springs, dropped radius arm brackets and longer springs and shockies. You will also need to install adjustable ball joints to the top of the spindle assembly to cater for the height increase, other wise you have a front end like a VW. I have also fiitted a steering damper.
You should be able to purchase a kit in US as mine came from there imported into OZ, supplied and fitted, $AU3600.
