2wd lift kits?

Fab tech makes a 4" & 6" lift for 2wd superdutys.
If it wasn't for my camper I would do the 6" myself.

You're not going to get 38's on a 2wd with a 6" lift. It will come out looking like a 4wd with a leveling kit on it, not some extreme lift.
Go up to the Excursion section. There's a moderator there named Toreador Diesel. He's got a 6" lift on his 2wd excursion. He can give you plenty of information.

I've been through this, made expensive mistakes, and learned what works and what doesn't.
I ended up with the Procomp kit as Fabtech had two different 6 inch lift kits that made things confusing.
Things to consider:
-The largest tires you can run with a 2wd lift kit, is 35 inch tires. The 35s rub slightly, but 37s are overkill.
-If you have a diesel truck, your only option is 6 inches. No more, no less
-You will need to regear to recover power and fuel economy due to the bigger tires. 4.10 are the correct ratio to get you back to the equivalent of 3.73. Anything else and you will have made an expensive mistake.
-If you have a diesel, there is no need for a truspeed module. You can adjust the speedo with an AE. F350-6 did mine Fall 2010 and it's been dead on ever since.
-You will need a caster/camber alignment kit. You will need to go to an alighment specialty shop in order for the truck to be aligned properly with the correct kit. If not, you'll chew through tires in no time.
-You can run 35s on the factory mags, no need for aftermarket rims, the correct tire size is 315/75/16.
I have more on this, but this should be enough to get the gears turning in your head. Need to off to the Christmas play, be back later.
