Inlet 2.9 vs 4.0

I don't like the inletmanifold setup of the 4.0 OHV, I think it is killing the airflow at higher RPM's.
Maybe you know that our (europe) version of the 2.9 inlet with a dual TB is much better than the US version. I was thinking would a 2.9 manifold with spacers fit a 4.0?
I heard somewhere they use 2.9 heads on the 4.0 because they are stronger, if that is true the ports must be at about the same position.
Can anyone confirm if the ports are at the same position on the inletmanifold?

you are right that the intake on the murkur scorpio 2.9 does have a daul intake but its the same hight and with just a lil wider at the top. also to note is that the scorpio intake faces towards the drivers side instead of the passengers like on normal 2.9's. i recomend practicing with a regular 2.9 intake to see if it works before going on the long hunt for the scorpio
