Here is a link that I found to use on my 2003 Excursion. Good Pics in color and is step-by-step.
Excursion Brake Repair
Process is easy, but the bolts can be a bear to get loose. A little break free, a breaker bar, and some muscle will get them off. Air tools are good too, if you have them.
Hope this helps.

I put Powerslot rotors on the front of my 00 V-10. Virtually eliminated the warp/vibration I had. I tow a 10K enclosed traielr with trailer brakes, but went through 3 sets of front rotors in just over 12K miles. I have had the Powerslots on for @ 15K miles now and no problems. Key to them is follow the "break in" instructions, I also used the Performance Friction pads all the way around, next step is to put the rotors on the rear.

You can use any type of pads you like, I just prefer the PF pads since I use them on my race car and found them to be predictable with little dust.
Biggest issue is heat build up and gettng the heat and gases away from the rotor is critical on our Excursions. Not sure why but it seems the Superduty does not have the same issue with brakes as we do,
Good luck
