IMCO Mufflers

I was looking down the side of the banners here and saw the link to IMCO exhausts. I checked them out and they are about half the price of a flowmaster. They have madrel bent pipes to go with it and I could put together a system for $110.

Just wondering if anyone has experiance with these mufflers, if so anyone have a clip, they have some on their website but they dont have a '95 302.

TIA

I don't have a sound clip but I do have a heavy duty IMCO muffler with pipe on my '01 F350 SD V10. The price was reasonable, although I can't remember what I paid. I'm not into working to come up with the right sound but I've been pleased with the IMCO. Has a nice deep rumble and no drone at speed even on the V10. Unless you're really into exhaust systems and gotta have a Flow/Gibson/Dynomax/etc for exactly the right sound, IMHO the IMCO is a good sounding muffler/pipe at a good price.

I have a Pro series SI/DO on my F250 w/5.4 and there is a little bit of drone but it goes away at highway speed. It might not be noticeable if you go with a SI/SO or with the Hot-Rod series.

The IMCOs are welded construction, with a heavy walled case; very well built. They are designed similiar to the Flowmasters, and have a similiar sound, but less 'tinny'.

I have an IMCO single chamber in series with a Moroso SpiralFlow on my Bronco 351M. Together they give a very unique sound.
