Throttle Linkage with Blue Thunder Manifold

I cannot know what your definition of "easy" is, but the way I address this problem is to go to a large bearing supply dealer (easily found in the yellow pages of moderate to large sized cities, or anywhere there's lots of agriculture) and get some of the smaller Heim Joints that they have, along with a 3' piece of threaded rod.
This is an old-time hot rod solution that still looks trick, and the heim joints have very little friction. You can then use the threaded rod to make any length of throttle rod you need, and it will outlast the car.
If you do not like the looks of the threaded rod, then either get some solid stock and thread the ends yourself, or get a piece of steel tubing and cut it to the right length, slipping it over the threaded rod.
This has always worked for me.
BTW, I also use larger heim joints on the clutch linkage at the first sign of wear or trouble there, too.

Good Evening All,
Well, we solved the problem, at least temporarily. We used a 9" length of threaded rod. The end was bent in a "L", pushed through the throttle arm and held in place with a cotter pin through a hole. I will dress up the cosmetics later with a smooth rod.
Thanks for all your help.
