2000 f150 door panel removal

Pull off the cover behind the door handle, it will pop off and there is a screw behind it. Then remove the verticle trim piece that runs up the door on the rear of the door. There is a screw there. Pop up the switch panel, front first, then unplug the switches. Then pull the panel straight up about an inch and it is off. These don't use push in clips, they have tabs that slide down into slots in the door.

took the drivers panel off my 2001. has two sheetmetal screws at the bottom lip of the door. then take the plastic cover off around the door handle and there are TWO screw inside that. pull up the electric window/ lock panel (no screws) and fish it thru the hole sideways as you lift the door panel off---- 4 screws total.

I got the door panel off thanks to your instructions. The door actuator is tucked back in and almost impossible to see what is holding it in. I suspect one or two rivets as I see no screw tops. Probably rivets then which means drilling them out, putting in a replacement actuator somehow, then rerevitting? It looks like I cant get a straight shot at the rivet locations because of door frame parts in the way though. I may have to bite the bullet and take this one in to the Ford dealer and get soaked for 200 bucks because of the rivet situation.
