'95 F-150 Dual Exhuast

My brother has an incredible sounding true dual exhaust system on his '94 Bronco. Only problem is it's illegal. Its got no cats or mufflers, just dual glass packs and strait pipes. He can't pass inspection with that system. I want a loud, throaty and legal system on my '95 F-150. Been looking into flowmaster cat back system w/ new headers. Can anyone give me suggestions on a great sounding exhaust system for pretty good price?

Thanks

Well it depends alot on the engine. If it is an I6 and you want a V8 sound your out of luck. But If it is an I6 and you like the way a Cummins sounds your in luck.

A 302 or 351 put a set of shorty hedders on it some high flow cats and a straight through muffler and you will be good to go.

yeah its got a 302 like my brother's bronco so im looking for something comprable to the rumble he gets from his system. I was definitely planning on ditchin the stock cats and going for high flow ones.

Thanks for the suggestion

I had a 95 F-150 with a 302. I put on a 3" pipe with a 2 chamber Flowmaster, and dualed it out the rear. It sounded pretty sweet. I was still running the original cats, but the rear of the 2nd cat was cut so that the whole system was 3". The larger pipe gives it a much throatier sound.

Yea, get hi-flow cats. Also, glasspacks are mufflers, so they are legal.

one that you can see staright through like an Aero Turbine type. or glasspacks. But Flowmasters are good to i'd get a one chamber Flowmaster for a 302.
