Using Rust bullet as primer for black paint job

I don't plan on painting my truck for quite some time. But I clicked the ad for Rust Bullet and it intrigues me. I would like to paint my truck jet black. Would I be able to use Rust Bullet as a primer? I did a search and all that I've seen is a lot of posts where people were asking about the stuff but no posts about experiences. The customer's vehicles on that sight look pretty sweet though, and I know that my undercarriage, axles, and suspension will be getting a couple coats.
