Tall valve covers

Howdy,
Ive decided to put roller rockers and a higher lift cam in my truck when i do the rebuild, so i will most likely need taller valve covers. (and my stock valve covers are beat up and look like crap. My question is will tall valve covers clear the HVAC box on the firewall and clear the brake booster on the other side? Also about how tall are the tall valve covers? Thanks in advance.

I'm using the Ford SVO tall valve covers. I just measured mine and with Fel-Pro rubber gaskets, they are right around 4.5 inches high (from the head mating surface to the top of the valve cover). I'm not sure what other makes are out there other than the SVO ones. I believe Milodon used to make them, but I'm not sure if they do anymore. If you want to get a better idea of their shape and such, I can email you a picture of them mounted on my engine in my engine bay. Just let me know

Going back to your original post, unless you really go crazy with lift a stock valve cover will clear. I am running the Crane 941 and Scorpion rockers and have no issues.
