I believe you cant run the tall valve covers because of the plenum. I believe most sites also specify EFI or Carb.

I think you will be fine running taller valve covers with that R-series intake:

The photo above is a Cleveland-headed 351W block running a Trickflow intake. Looks like plenty of room to me

The PCV valve and "vent" are usually on opposite sides of the engine. The photo I posted shows the PCV on the driver's side front valve cover. If it were mine I would put it back in the factory location of the passenger side valve cover near the rear. The oil fill on the factory engine doubles as the "vent" location. There should be an extender piece for the cap and a nipple with a hose leading to the airbox to draw in fresh air.

You could use a vented fill cap if you are running a Speed Density system. If you are planning on running Mass Airflow (MAF) you need to run the "vent" hose to the air intake after the MAF meter. Otherwise you will have unmetered air running into the engine, it will cause problems.

A quick Google search found this: Moroso : 68450

Note: Inside cover is pilot notched, making it easy to cut out openings for a PCV valve, breather or oil filler cap; includes grommets
