Horn not working with key on

I just put in my column and every thing works fine.well almost everything.my horn works with the key off but when I turn the key to run no horn.all the wires are the same and in the same place.any one have any idea on whats going on?

Not sure but it sounds like a relay is hooked up wrong.

Woked fine with old column.don't see any thing diffrent.all wires are the same .my truck is a 1990 F150 and the truck I got the new column out of is a 1991 F250.mine had tilt this one don't it don't have cruise or tilt.

does one side of the horn button get power when the key is on? If it does check for the ground on the other side.

Don't look like it's getting any power.time to trace wires.can I run a constant hot to it?don't want to burn anything up.

yea you could, i'd run it off a fuse thats hot with the car on. But the one thing i havn't payed any attention to is whether it breaks the power to it or the ground. We ran into that with my buddy's honda.
