Instrument Cluster

I replaced the intrument cluster in my 99 ford f150. My truck won't start with the new one in. I have reset the codes by dicon. the battery. I aslo have the transponder keys with the chip in them.

Anyone think the key needs to be re-programed?

Hi postie and welcome to the forum

Yes, unfortunately on these you have to get the keys programmed to the instrument cluster. Unless you can get someone to bring the right scan tool to where your truck is, you'll probably have to get it towed to your dealer. Or you could swap the old cluster back in and drive it there.
