sl oil

are all the oil companies going to stop making sl oil and go to sm or are some going to continue with the sl.

I think high-mileage oils and SL compliance are somewhat mutually exclusive, so I'm fairly sure that some oils will stay away from SL. And if all else fail, there's Amsoil....

The Mobil Extended Performance synthetic is SL still and will probably be stay in grade stuff as usual as in not prone to oxidative thickening .

Would you use this 10w-30 with 40% groupI+ , the rest less the ashless additive pack used is group II if you could find it for 1.50 a quart ?
