I found out last night that just because your motor can turn 9200 rpm's doesn't mean your alternater can. I sat down and did the math, with my engine turning 9200 my alternater was turning 29000 rpm's. There was a warning in the box that said the alternater shouldn't exceed 18000 rpm's. I'm glad I went with a metal fuel line. The internals of the alternator shrapneled the inside of my hood.
Oops, I know not to do that again.
