I've had my truck for about a year and a few months and I just hit 30k miles and I think that my cv joint might be going out. I am running the Skyjacker 6 inch full suspension system with the daystar 2.5 inch coilspacer lift on the front end with 37 inch BFG Mud-Terrains. Just last week I noticed that when I was reversing into my parking spot at my condo that there was a loud popping noise coming from my front end. It mainly does it when I turn and I am just leaving a parking spot or just getting to a spot to park. but never any noise when I'm at speeds higher that 7-10 mph. It mainly does it when I turn but I noticed that it does it every once and awhile when I stop and reverse strait back with no turn and no flex in the suspension. The dealership that I work at is blaming it on the lift kit and says that its the suspension that I had installed. If anyone can give me some usefull feedback on this situation I would really appreciate it.

 

Well that sucks.. I'm pretty sure your warranty (as far as suspension) is voided so their's not much you can do there. Maybe its just a torn CV boot that needs to be replaced and repacked... get it fixed soon though, rain + torn cv boot could mess up the cv joint.
