abs light

the abs light on my 99 expedition comes on sometimes when I turn the steering wheel more than 90 degrees to the left. could the sensor need to be cleaned or is it going bad? it always goes out one the truck has been turned off and wont do it all the time.

Check wires from sensors(both sides) to make sure they have'nt rubbed through on something. Then check wheel bearings to make sure there is no play, which could cause intermittent signal change to speed sensor as weight shifts from side to side.Good luck.
