I've sat here and read all the threads a couple of times and its been hard to think of something constructive, because we all know these are trucks not a Lexus. Here's my opinion.
Service lights (Glovebox and Hood), should have been a no brainer.
A light on the bumper for hooking up the trailer. (I've installed one)
A hitch that actually matches the rating on the truck when you buy the tow package.
The compartment under the bed side would be nice. (my '72 had one)

By far this is the best Ford truck I've ever owned and I've owned every body from '65. Before this truck my favorite would have been a '79 I used to drive. The truck has plenty of power (5.4) to pull what I want, and the new RegCab is outstanding.

You're right! Some Lexus cars are a lot cheaper than my Lariat Super Crew!

I have to say ...
Leave the Lariatt seats alone, they're great!
However ... I would like the center console to accept hanging pendaflex files. It would only have to be another inch longer to do so and there is plenty of room for that.
Softer armrests on the doors, for sure.
Stronger AC system with more logical controls for defrost, etc. Having a separate button for different defrosts and ac is stupidly confusing.
BIG ITEM .... offer all wheel drive model instead of just 4wd. I believe that this would be quite popular if people only knew the difference.

floor mats

My FX4 is great; Here's some minor changes I would encourage: The nice looking, black, ribbed, rubber floor mats have absolutely no fore/aft grip when my outdoor boots are wet. The top of the cab cargo area light is vulnerable to breakage from lumber, canoes, etc. My door panel window switches/lock switches get wet often from rain and snow when opening the door in a storm. So, far, no problem, but If not done already, I would suggest these switches get all-weather moisture seals from the factory. Maybe a thin "rain-gutter" or ridge would help keep built-up snow from sliding off the roof side sections when I open the door. Does Ford already seal the switches? Standard heated side-view mirrors would be real nice, too. Wiper mounted washer jets would be an improvement. As built, the below the windshield washer jets are often covered in snow/ice, and are hard to find in a storm. The spray pattern is very effective, though. Thanks!
