Red face '83 ranger electrical trouble

I have an '83 ranger 2.3 2WD and I have an electrical problem. It first started with my a/c and blinkers going out always at the same time and they used to come back, but now are off for good. Now something is draining my battery. I put my test light between neg post and cable and light stays lit, the tail light, horn and dome fuses show power on both sides but the tail lights and dome go off correctly. Does anyone have any ideas or advice on this disaster?

Generally the best way to find an unwanted load is to pull the fuses. When you find one with a load you can't explain start pulling its connectons until it stops. Then trace that line untill you find it.

I have tried that once with my test light and it never wnet off. I pulled all the fuses one by one. The light stayed lit the entire time. Is there any other areas I should check? Thank you for the responce.
