Hmmmm. Tough to say, since you have the only one that was ever made. lol. Hasn't been any other factory built Ford 429 made since the early 70's. Or was it the late 60's?

Maybe it is an HD truck engine?? I know they had offered those into the 80's at least....

Oh, and Manuel, go buy a hanes or chilton. They will have all of that information in them.

No, they stopped making them in the 70's. He's either full of it, or the guy who sold it to him is.

FYI: The 7.0L (429) Gas Engine DID continue in the Medium Duty Trucks (F-600 - F-800) up until 1999 as far as I can Tell. I have the Torque Specs on my 95 Ford Truck Service Information CD. Manuel, I will try to make a .PDF print out of that section for you.

Yes, it a truck engine, from a 1990 F-700, I was rebuilding the motor due to problems with a piston rod and after rectifying the block and cylinder heads I really can't find the torque specifications required to assemble the motor again.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

Thanks<o></o>

They used the 370s as well, but you could also get a 429 or a 460.

I'd call the local ford dealer. The service department should be able to give you those specs.

Incase you havent gotten to the ford dealer yet.....

http://homepage.mac.com/the_webers_inc/429s.pdf

Towards the bottom are the torq specs. Again this is for a 1995 so it should be the same.

Hope this helps,

T. J.
