Question 1969 460 Cam Profile? Please Help

I have searched enough to know that a 1969 460 from a Lincoln had 365 hp and about 500lb. ft. of torque, but what I would like to know is where in the rpm range are these developed and what is the redline on this engine? What are the camshaft specs? If these numbers are correct then this engine will have all the power i need for now and would like to rebuild it back to original specs to hopefully keep the reliability of these awsome engines. I was already directed to the NHRA website by a local engine builder to look at the stock engine blueprints they have but they do not list a 460 until 1971. This builder was honest and told me he doesnt know enough about the bbf to help me. So now im turning to you folks for some help. Any help where i could find this information would be great. Thanks

whd507! again with the information ! This helps alot, looks like there is a little room for improvement in the cam department. I was just curious as to what or if you are runnin the same engine in something and could i get your opinion on this engine as far as horse power and torque goes and any modifications you have made? The only thing I am worried about is putting a cam in the engine and losing all that awsome torque it came with from the factory, thats why i was trying to find the factory cam profile to have as a base for running it through the Dektop Dyno. THanks again whd507

I have had several. my first car was a 68 continental...

I have one in a 73 F-250 2wd, with 3.73 gears. it goes over 130mph (dont ask how I know)
and does mid 13s with a utility bed...

oh and with 73 heads, carter AFB and roller fulcrums, it gets 11-12 mpg

and it will straight up take your breath away. every teenager in my youth group wants to drive it at least once...lol but few ever have...

these are all car specs from an old ford engine specs sheet

I dont have the truck specs, only cars

I figure if I spent that much time typing all that, I might as well spread it around a little...
