When I start my 02 mountaineer with rear air, I can hear a mild but constant thumping sound coming from inside the interior panel in the left rear of the vehicle. When I turn the rear a/c on, the thumping gets a bit louder, but thumps with the same rhythm.....

Sounds almost as if something is stuck trying to cycle off/on or something.....

any ideas?
