I just bought a 99'f250 powerstroke, and am looking for a good shop in the NY/NJ area that could do a lift kit, and some custom engine work. (putting in a kit to run the truck on soybean oil!)

Any recommendations are appreciated!

Check out OK Auto 4WD in Stewartsville NJ.. Its on Rt57 in Warren Co. They do very nice jobs with their lifts, I don't think they do any custom engine work though, ,their phone # is 908-454-6973 or on the web @ http://ok4wd.com

 

i have heard decent things about ok auto 4wd as well. I work out of my house in No. Plfd from time to time. Would be interested in any info you have on the soybean oil conversion. do you have a kit? if so, send me information, or where your geting your info from. If no one will touch it, i would be willing to help you out on the side.

 

I know of a place in Caldwell that does alot of enginge work (exhaust brakes and such) also I think they do lifts. It is on Smull ave. off of Bloomfield ave. Not sure of the name.

Kodiak Customs in Englishtown does lift work but I'm not sure about engine work. They put the lift on my 350 and on my Wrangler. Speak to Chuck, he's the owner. He'll probably direct you to Kevin for the lift, tires and wheels. Tell them Jim Swenson sent you (guy with the black 350 PS they lifted w/ weld wheels).
