Lemon Lawed

I also just finished a lemon law case. I had a 2003 Mercury Maurader. It developed a drivetrain vibration at about 2000 RPM's after it had 15,000 miles on it. The dealer was great, and did everything they could do, even put a new motor in it, but something was still vibrating, but not as bad, barely detectable.
The service manager told me to do it, and helped along the way. I paid a $250.00 filing fee to the New York State Attorney Generals Office, and the case was excepted. When it came time for the hearing, the service manager was there with a rep. from Ford. They wanted to talk to me prior to the hearing, and with the arbitrators knowledge. We talked, and they gave me all my money back including the filing fee, taxes I paid, registration fees, and did not penalize me for being over the 12,000 miles as they have. The arbitrator wrote up all the details. They paid my car off, and I bought a new F-150 Lareit 4X4 extended cab. I bought the truck from the same dealer, because they really went to bat for me, and have a great service department. Before I purchased the truck, I tried a Z-71 Chevy, and a Dodge Hemi. This Ford in my opinion, is in a class by itself. Just hope it's a good one.
