Navigator Liftgate Inoperative

I left my 2004 Navigator liftgate in the up and open position overnight. This AM, the liftgate would not operate either with the remote or the ceiling switch, and when closed manually, will not completely latch shut and tight.... "liftgate ajar" on the message center.

Ideas, anyone? A blown fuse?

Also, do not have the retractable running boards on this vehicle... they would be on the same fuse (#105) and the liftgate motor. Any ideas?
