Cold start prolem...

I have a cold start problem:<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

<o></o>

All glow plugs are ok – they glow! But I only have 8 volt wile worming up. Can anyone please tell me have much voltage there should be on the glow plugs wile worming up? <o></o>

<o></o>

Fuel is getting past the fuel filter. If the problem (air in the fuel system) is closer to the injector pump – can anyone tell me hove to seek out the problem?<o></o>

Try breaking all the fuel lines loose at the injectors. Crank for a short time ... if there is lots of fuel at the injectors, it will be apparent by the amount of fuel running all over the engine. Retighten all the fuel line nuts If this proves ok, try plugging the block heater in for 2 hours. Try to start the engine. If it starts ok, your problem is most likely in the glow plug system and you may need new batteries.

Make sure your cranking system is in good shape. Was having trouble with my 91, replaced all cables, it starts right away now.
