Question supercharger on a 400

do they make superchargers for a for 400 if so were can i get one

You would have to get a set up for a 351C, and run a set of 400 intake spacers and get a longer belt. I don't think anyone makes a manifold for the 400

i was told that bds makes something for a 400 not sure though. i was on their site but couldn't find it (im @ work so i didn't have much time to look) there is a tech line. i'm sure they could help u. if u find out something, let me know thanx- matt

BDS offers both individual parts (including the manifold) and complete 8-71 blower kits for the 351M/400 engine. 351M/400 kit part numbers start with 578- prefix.

IMO, if you want performance more than "looks," a better solution would be to adapt a Paxton or Vortech blower and intercooler, and set up the carb for "blow through" operation. It would be more custom fab work, though.

I wonder how much one of those beasts costs and just how much boost are you getting out if them and if it is possible to get higher boost by running a smaller belt but if someone produces one.

boy, just imagine, a 400 that has been massaged to compensate for the EPA requirements, and then add a supercharger. I'd hurt myself...LOL

i think my engine whould be perfict for one of those, 8-1 comp ratio. and cam.

my mouth it watering mmmmmmmmmm... blower.....
