I have an 03 Explorer with leather seats and no heater. I want to add an aftermarket heater pad but I want to buy the factory heated seat switch. I plan on making up my own harness to use with keyed power and the after market heating pads. The problem is I can't find a photo of the heater switch, does anyone have a photo of the dash with the switch shown?
I want to have a little more knowledge about it before I go to the dealer to buy the parts. What else goes in teh three switch panel with the seat heater switches?
On my EB '04 the switch for the heated seat is along side of the seat, not on the dash. The dash climate control unit has a display icon to show the seat heater is on.
Surprised they changed this design so much from '03 to '04. Let me know if a pic of the seat switch is of any help.

They didn't change anything. Ford has been using the same design since its redesign in 2002. I remember test driving a 2002 a couple of years ago that has the button on the side of the seat and the icon on the ETAC display.
