When the snow is gone I'm going to a wrecker. I'll look for a vin for you.

Vern

I just dug through the garage, when I bought my Panel it had two complete dahses that were cut out of other trucks.
None of the Glove box doors has Vin Plates, including the one from the Panel.
Someone is stealing our Vin Plates, It must be those Chebby guys trying to disquise there piles as good ole' Fords.
I'll try to get out to my Father-in-Laws this weekend and see if I can get back to the "Field of Dreams", there are at least 5 hulks that I have found so far. Hopefully the Bear that took up residence back there last Fall has awakened and gone awondering

Thanks guys. I appreciate your shaking the bushes to help me out. This isn't something I need right away. The truck is probably 6-12 months away from needing to be registered. I'm just getting my ducks lined up....

Vern, I'll keep my eyes peeled as I'm going to start bush hunting for some more parts as soon as the weather gets better.Still need some good fenders. Have you got pics of your truck with the front fenders on? I want to check out the stance and rim to fender clearance, if of coarse you don't mind.

Mombo.

I appreciate that. I had to move just as I was finishing up the front suspension and just stuck the sheetmetal on to move it late last fall. I haven't adjusted the torsion bars yet either, so a picture of my truck would not help you.

I do believe I have found what you were looking for, the door is shot, the plate itself is legable.

That would be a 48 F-1 with a 6 cylinder engine...sounds like I can use that. Can you email me to work out the details? I sent you an email but don't know if you got it or not.

Vern
