ignition noise in radio

I have a 1989 F150 with 300 engine. This morning on my way to work I started getting ignition noise through the FM radio. It has never done it before and it just started suddenly. Where is the noise suppressor located on this truck?

My brother is having a similar problem in his car but, as his engine revs up the noise gets louder. I think it has something to do with a loose ground wire, but Im not sure. I would appreciate any help also.

I had the same problem. My ground wire behind the dash (for the radio) came unhooked. Reattached and like new.
