air buffet

has anyone with a screw tried driving at highway speed with only the rear door windows open? on mine there is a low frequecy buffet that is almost unbearable. just wondered if anyone else experienced this.

Yes it is in all F150 trucks and a lot of passenger cars.
Don't know why.No one has been able yo fix it.

dang that sux guys, its always nice to have a quiet cruiser with the windows down, my 95 cougar was great this way, 95 2 door pontiac gtp is terrible.

Mine isnt to bad on my Super Cab but then again the windows are smaller on it the Screw. But there is still some noise.

My 2002 f-250 cc has the same problem going down the road, on those nice fall and spring days i would like to run with all four down but that dam noise drives my NUTS....

Mine too. Open the moon roof and it get's EVEN better...I kinda like it though!

Actually i very rarely drive with the windows open...don't like any noise...i'm kinda spoiled by the peace and quiet of my interior.

Yes, I have that problem on my SuperCrew. Unbearable. It's the compression and decompression of the air from some turbulence and it's hard on the ears.
